Harold J. Love is a senior law enforcement executive with over 24 years of law enforcement experience (16 in leadership and management positions). He currently serves as a Captain with the Michigan Department of State Police (MSP) and commander of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division; providing leadership and administrative oversight of MSP's state wide commercial vehicle enforcement operations and special programs. In his previous position, Love commanded the 2nd District, comprised of multiple work sites and multi-jurisdictional special enforcement teams and units covering 6 counties in Metropolitan Detroit. Love has served as incident commander and public information officer for numerous critical incidents and high profile investigations; developing a reputation as a trusted leader with exceptional interpersonal skills among MSP team members as well as public and private sector partners. Love holds a bachelor's degree in Public Safety Studies from Siena Heights University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Community Counseling.

He has a passion for public service and a commitment to the education, coaching, and counseling of law enforcement and emergency service personnel to enhance their overall wellness, professional development, and longevity.

Mr. Navarro possesses 25 years of professional law enforcement experience, with over 20 years at the command/supervisory level. Mr. Navarro earned a bachelor's degree from Barry University in 1998 and a Master of Science degree from Lynn University in 2004. In addition, he has a graduate certificate in Emergency Planning and Administration.

Daniel is a Master Instructor and a member of the Board of Directors for Blue Courage. Dan was the co-founder of the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department's (KCPD) Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy was developed to bring principle and value based leadership to law enforcement. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and obtained a Master Degree in Education. He has experience in primary and secondary education and was recently involved in a cooperative venture between the KCPD and Benedictine University in developing and facilitating a new MBA in Leadership degree program.

Daniel is a veteran of the United States Army Military Police Corp. and served for 26 years with the Kansas City, MO Police Department. While with the KCPD he served in numerous capacities; patrol, traffic enforcement (motorcycle unit), Gang Resistance Education and Training, the Training Division and as a Hostage Negotiator. He holds numerous nationally recognized leadership and personal development content certifications, including from FranklinCovey; 7 Habits, Great Leaders Great Teams Great Results, Focus and Writing Advantage and from the Arbinger Institute; Choice and Choice at Work and World Class Leadership. Dan and his wife, Carol, reside in Kansas City, Missouri.

Larry Snelling has served the Chicago Police Department for over 20 years in several capacities. He is currently assigned as the supervising Sergeant of recruit training at the Chicago Police Education and Training Division where he has instructed as the Defensive Tactics coordinator for nearly 10 years. He testifies as a 30 (b) 6 witness in civil lawsuits involving police use of force and excessive force cases. He has instructed the City of Chicago Corporation Counsel, the Independent Police Review Authority, the Citizens Academy, the Boys and Girls Club, inner city public high schools, and community organizations on police/citizen encounters. Larry was tasked with the responsibility of heading up training for over 8000 Chicago Police Officers in preparation for the 2012 NATO Summit. He also developed and instructed a Leadership class for supervising Sergeants.

Larry has a B.A. in Liberal Arts from DePaul University, and over 20 trainer certifications. He holds a fitness trainer certification from the Cooper Institute and regularly instructs police group training sessions. Larry Snelling is a founding member of the Blue Courage project and serves on its Board of Directors.

Chief Noble Wray has been with the Madison Police Department for almost 28 years. He was promoted through the ranks and was appointed Chief of Police of the City of Madison in 2004. Before becoming Chief, Noble received Life Saving and Outstanding Service Awards as a member of the Madison Police Department.

Noble has also excelled as a nationally recognized consultant for law enforcement organizations, such as the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) and the Police Foundation in the areas of problem solving, community policing and trust-based policing. He has served on staff at the Police Leadership Institute at the University of Lowell Massachusetts for a course he developed for police managers called "Problem Solving Lessons Learned." Noble continues to be a national presenter on these topics. In 2011 Noble was asked to present on these topics by the International Conference on Innovative Solutions for Law Enforcement and US Department of Justice's COPS Office annual conference. He is also a certified trainer/consultant for both Steven Covey and COPS Office Fair and Impartial Policing. Peter Whittingham is currently a Captain with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), assigned as the Commanding Officer in the Hollywood Patrol Division. He began his career in law enforcement with the Jamaica Police Department. After 10 years of service, he retired and migrated to the United States, where he resumed his career in law enforcement by joining the University of Southern California (USC) Public Safety (Campus Police) Department. He joined the LAPD in 1988. After graduating from the LAPD Academy, Peter held many positions, including Foothill and Northeast Areas Field Supervisor, Detective for the North Hollywood Detective Division, Internal Affairs Group Investigator and Assistant Advocate, Pacific Area Watch Commander, Newton Area Administrative Lieutenant, Officer in Charge of the Southwest Area Gang Impact Team, Pacific Area Assistant Commanding Officer, LAX Field Services Division, and Commanding Officer, Hollywood Patrol Division. Peter is also active in a number of law enforcement-related service organizations, including PERF, NOBLE, ABLE, OJB, and the Jamaica Ex-Police Officers Association.

Peter graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne, California. He prides himself as a practitioner of Situational Leadership and has attended various management/leadership training/seminars, and is a graduate of the LAPD West Point Leadership Program, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy. He currently lives in West Covina, CA with his family.

Howard L. Powers proudly served the state of Michigan for more than 38 years as a law enforcement official. During his 32 year career with the Michigan State Police (MSP), he developed a reputation for personifying the MSP Value Statement, A Proud Tradition of Service through Excellence, Integrity, and Courtesy. Howard spent a large part of his MSP career as a First Lieutenant and section commander in the MSP Training Division where he was responsible for the training, development, and mentoring of recruits, veteran troopers, sergeants, and members of local and county police agencies. Before retiring, Howard played a significant role in the development and delivery of training and education in the areas of supervision, leadership, and executive leadership. After retiring from the Michigan State Police, Howard served six years as the Security Director at the Hall of Justice for the Michigan Supreme Court. He continues to exercise his passion to develop police officers as a guest lecturer for the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police, training annually in the area Developing Subordinates.

Howard comes from a family of educators and has a sincere love and a passion for training, developing and educating law enforcement professionals. He holds a B.S. degree from Madonna University in Criminal Justice, is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the Lansing Community College Leadership Academy and holds numerous training certificates.

Jocelyn Little has spent many years sharpening her skills in the diversity and education environment. She joined the MGM MIRAGE's Diversity Education department in 2002, supporting their very first Diversity Champions Workshop. In December 2006, Jocelyn joined Bellagio's Convention Services department, assisting with convention groups and the coordination of their events. In July 2007, when Jocelyn moved to Newport, RI, she jumped at the chance to re-join the passion and energy of the team as a logistics support. She feels the real reward of her job comes from her influence in touching lives and leaving a legacy. In April 2009, Jocelyn took on additional administrative responsibilities. She is currently a part of the Blue Courage team taking care of miscellaneous administrative duties.  She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Hotel Administration and currently lives with her son in Las Vegas, NV.

Kristen Roman is currently a Lieutenant with the Madison Police Department (MPD) in Madison, WI. During her 24 year tenure she has served in a variety of assignments to include, Recruiting Officer, Public Information Officer, Field Training Officer and Sergeant, Community Relations Sergeant, Sergeant of Records, Lieutenant of Detectives, Patrol Operations Lieutenant, Lieutenant of Professional Standards & Internal Affairs, and Personnel and Training Lieutenant, to highlight a few. In addition, she serves as the Crisis Negotiation Team Commander, coordinates department Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) efforts and supervises the MPD's Peer Support Program.

Throughout her career, Kristen has worked extensively in the area of improving services to persons with mental illness. She conducts training for law enforcement agencies, service providers, and consumers on this subject; conducts annual training entitled, “Serving the Mentally Ill†for MPD's pre-service academy; coordinates the department's Mental Health Liaison Program; serves on the Board of Directors for NAMI Dane County; participates in various community forums/service provider collaborations; and oversees MPD's efforts as one of six agencies in the country selected by the Bureau of Justice Assistance/Council of State Governments to serve as a Mental Health/Law Enforcement Learning Site.

Kristen is a graduate of the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety School of Police Staff and Command, and was the 2008 recipient of Northwestern University's Franklin M. Kreml Leadership Award. She holds a master's degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University and a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

With 28 years of law enforcement experience, he currently serves as the Executive Officer at the Arizona Law Enforcement Academy, which provides basic training for State, County, Municipal and Tribal police agencies within Arizona. Victor holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Public Safety Administration from Grand Canyon University, and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Justice and Human Rights from Arizona State University. Victor is a graduate of the Leadership in Police Organization course, and the FBI National Academy Session #249.

Victor is a Certified Emergency Paramedic, and a Certified Cooper Institute Health Promotion Director and Advanced Police Fitness Specialist. John A. Kleinheinz holds the rank of Captain within the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and is currently assigned as the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Division Commander. As a senior commander of the Sheriff's Office with over 27 years of experience, John welcomes the challenges of leading this service-oriented Division that specializes in handling high-risk situations for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

In the years prior to being assigned to SWAT, John's command assignments were as a patrol commander including 7 years in the largest contract city for the Sheriff's Office as the Chief of Law Enforcement Services for the Town of Fountain Hills. He also served as the Division Commander of Internal Affairs, Employee Medical and Legal Compliance, New Construction, the Training Division, and worked as Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Public Information Officer.

During this time, John was fundamental in establishing the Sheriff's Office Memorial by raising the money for, and commissioning the monument “They Served Well†in honor of those deputies that have been killed in the line of duty.

He was also responsible for founding the Sheriff's Office Memorial Fund. The Fund exists to financially assist the families of those deputies and members of the Office who have been killed in the line of duty through the coordination of donations from high powered business leaders and philanthropists that have given generously in support these special families.

John earned his AA degree from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California, his Bachelor's Degree in Applied Management (2004), and Master's Degree in the Science of Leadership (2007) with an emphasis on Crises Management and Emergency Preparedness from the Ken Blanchard School of Business at Grand Canyon University. He is also a graduate of the 221st Session of the FBI National Academy.

Currently, John is a member of the FBI National Academy Association and the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA). He was also actively involved in the Noon Kiwanis Club of Fountain Hills, served as the past Executive Director of the Sheriff's Office Memorial Fund, and past Statutory Agent of the Sheriff's Office Youth Assistance Foundation.

Jack Hart is a 14-year veteran of the San Francisco Police Department, having served in various patrol assignments, as an FTO, and as an Attorney with the Department's Legal Division where he appeared in civil and criminal courts on behalf of officers as well as doing video legal updates that went department-wide. As a California POST certified instructor he teaches search and seizure in officers and sergeants' mandated continuing professional training classes, and has recently completed his 30th SFPD Recruit class instruction on search and seizure, laws of arrest, constitutional law, and criminal statutes. As a sergeant, he led a street-crimes (gangs and guns) plainclothes enforcement detail in the Bayview police district, and now, as a patrol lieutenant, is currently the officer in charge of SFPD's Candlestick Park detail which includes the management of over 100 officers at San Francisco 49ers' home games.
